The factory Alpine sub in the Jeep is nothing less than a joke for any bass. I decided I wanted to try something a little different while keeping the factory sub panel intact. I went with the Rockford Fosgate 8 inch marine grade subwooofer and a 150 watt Fosgate monoblock amp. The install was easy since I chose high level input for the amp. This allowed me to splice into the factory speaker wires and use the existing signal from the head unit. When it was all done, I’d call it a half pounder. 😉
