I finally got the green light from the boys at RPM Extreme to start my harness and swap kit. The order has been placed and the garage cleanout is complete. Today I started the teardown of the 3.6. The Warn winch had to come off which I was absolutely dreading. In reality, it came right off. I found a trick to reach the fairlead bolts and hold them still to be able to remove the acorn nuts on the front. Once the fairlead was free, the bumper was a smooth removal.
I was able to get all the way down to the core support removal in about four hours. I will be tackling the hydraulic assist steering and the transmission coolers tomorrow. Then drain the engine oil and plug the transmission cooling lines so the engine can come out. Should be a good day tomorrow. Check back for progress!
