I have been frustrated with the Rubicon electronic sway bar disconnect since I got my Jeep. The disconnect is unpredictable, and not convenient because it can change settings and you may not realize it. The Rubicon disconnect is controlled by the Jeep TIPM, which has rules of engagement for the sway bar. With my frustration, I simply chose to run sway bar disconnects instead of messing with the electronics.
Enter the EVO Rubicon Air Actuated Sway Bar Disconnect. This device replaces the electronic disconnect with an air solenoid activated plunger to activate the breakaway cog. This takes away the TIPM managed electronics for the sway bar and also takes the guesswork out of engaging the sway bar. Since my new axles will have ARB air lockers and I already have onboard air in place this seemed like a natural solution over a Currie Anti-Rock.
