Dove into the install on Tuesday and made good progress. I was able to hang the front on the control arms in about 30 minutes and then moved around to the back. When I got to the back it seemed like everything that could go wrong did. After several slow ups and having to make a few geometry corrections in the control arms, I got the rear springs, shocks and track bar where they are supposed to be.
Wednesday night I concentrated on the fronts getting the springs, air bumps, and track bar where they needed to be. I encountered a bit of a snag when trying to fab the mount for my Evo solid bumps. I broke a tap off flush with the surface of the spring perch and I believe it is now a permanent fixture in the Jeep because it ain’t coming out! And of course, no stores within miles have a tap that I need, so springs in and worry about it later.
