LT Swap – Steering Ram is in… Now We Wait

I got the ram stroke measurements logged with the new tie rod assembly torqued in place. The PSC ram I have is exactly the same push length as the stop-to-stop measurement on the new axle and with the Reid Racing knuckles. I leveled the ram to the tie rod while the tie rod was in a neutral centered position and marked the tab locations on the diff cover. The fun part was taking apart what I just spent hours putting together so I could get some welding done. Last night we got everything welded in place, painted, and then put the steering back in place. Tonight I will check ram hoses and fittings to make sure I have clearance at droop and stuff. When the power steering system is closed and the reservoir is filled, I will move the Jeep and get ready to turn the engine over. Really close to getting this beast on the trails.
