Jeep is still in the shop. Transmission has been completely dismantled and no obvious signs of breakage or foul play were discovered. The transmission will be reassembled with a new GM 8L90 master seal kit, a new bell housing pump, and a new torque converter. The hope behind the changes is to finally have a transmission that wants to shift into gear. While the Jeep is in the shop it will get the AC charge and leak check performed, as well as front alignment (caster mostly) and 4 tire balance. I really hope to have the Jeep back within the next week, and all the known gremlins flushed out. I’m okay with new gremlins! Looking forward to wheeling the Pointe of Hope fundraiser event in Hidden Falls Adventure Park on November 6-8. This will be the first dirt trip for the swap and hopefully the beginning of a great wheeling machine!
